On 24 May, 2003 the offender was released, based on the Jordanian law that the DA can not hold a person more than four months. Even if there is a tribal agreement that states otherwise (like in this case were it was agreed that the offender should stay at least six months). in such accident the government "force" you to make tribal agreement, to prevent tribal problems, but it has no legal effect, this is due to Jordan un-clear stand on tribal/legal issues.
